Revit Architeture & Structure
What you'll learn
In a Revit Architecture and Structure course, participants will learn the following:
• Introduction to Revit: Understanding the BIM workflow, user interface, and project
setup specific to architecture and structural design.
• Building Elements: Creating and modifying architectural and structural components
such as walls, floors, roofs, columns, beams, foundations and reinforcement.
• Views and Sheets: Creating and managing different views, sheets, and schedules
specific to architectural and structural documentation.
• Annotation and Detailing: Adding dimensions, text, symbols, and other annotations
to architectural and structural drawings.
• Visualization and Rendering: Applying materials, textures, and lighting to create
realistic renderings and visualizations for architectural and structural models.
• Project Documentation: Generating construction documents, including plans,
sections, elevations, and schedules specific to architectural and structural design.
• Preparing Structural Analysis: Utilizing Revit's structural analysis tools to create and
modify structural analytical model.
• Schedule and quantities for the buildings components.
By the end of the course, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of using
Revit for architectural and structural design. They will be able to create accurate 3D models,
produce high-quality construction documents, perform basic structural analysis, and
collaborate effectively with other professionals in the architecture and engineering
industry
